It contains many tiny air bubbles which makes it very porous. It is an effective natural, physical barrier against fungus gnats when used as a surface barrier. This is because of the fine abrasive particles that do not allow the gnats to enter the pot media – breaking the life-cycle. How to Use Shake the bag well to get an even distribution of particle sizes. Tear or cut bag to open along the marked dotted line and seal the bag after use.
