Finch & Budgie Crumbles (Complete Diet for Finches & Budgerigars)

Description Vetafarm Finch and Budgie Crumbles have been formulated by Avian Veterinarians to provide species specific nutritional balance for growth, breeding, brain function and optimum feather development. This product is made with care using hand-selected Australian produce, there are no artificial colours or by-products. It is uniquely extruded to unlock natural flavours, improve digestibility and ensure food safety. Suitable for all finches, canaries and budgerigars.     Feeding Guide: All birds require freely available fresh, clean water at all times. Birds fed on extruded diets will produce droppings of a different colour and texture to birds fed on seed. Non-Breeding Finches should be fed a diet consisting of 90% Finch and Budgie Crumbles, 5% seeds (millet sprays, seed heads etc), 5% Insects. Omnivorous finches require insect protein supplementation when breeding, for this purpose, Vetafarm Insectapro should be added to the diet before/during breeding and while young are being raised. 70% Finch and Budgie Crumbles, 20% Vetafarm Insectapro, 5% seeds (millet sprays, seed heads etc), 5% Insects. Budgerigars should be fed a diet consisting of 90% Finch and Budgie Crumbles, 10% seeds (millet sprays, seed heads etc). Average daily pellet requirements Finch (Zebra/Gouldian): Small finches approx. 15g bodyweight requires minimum 2g of Finch & budgie crumble per day. Budgerigar: Average Budgerigar approx. 40g bodyweight requires minimum 4g of Finch & budgie crumble per day.
